Antique Jardiniere from Leeds Art Pottery
This beautiful glazed porcelain jardiniere comes from the famous Leeds Art Pottery (1756). The pale yellow and blue ornaments are nicely highlighted with the creamy background colour. The bottom of the base is coloured brown. It has got the "Leeds Art Pottery" hallmark on it.
I love the glowing patina that comes with age. Some chips on the base and cracks on the bowl (someone tried to patch up the bottom) are showing signs of its' unknown history but it is still functional.
