Chubb& Son's Cash Box

This is an Edwardian japanned metal and brass cash box by Chubb & Son's (128 Queen Victoria Street, London). They produced one of the best quality locks and safes during the Edwardian period.
This cash box is a beautiful example of original japanning with gilt and orange stripes.
It comes with a gorgeous swan neck handle on the top of the lid. The brass makers plaque is on the inside of lid.  You can also find a maker's sign by the lock. It has got an original lift out three section coin tray.
It comes with a CHubb & Son's key but I am not sure if it works with it.
