They are very pretty lustware bowls. Lutsre is a thin coating containing unoxidised metal that gives an iridescent glaze to ceramics.
The dessert bowls were created in the shape of a lotus flower and they sit on an attached under-plate. They come in seven different colours. They are all in lovely vintage condition. 2-3 of them have got small chips or cracks but they are perfectly fine to be used.
